When it comes to personal living spaces; whether it be a house, boat, or trailer, there is always room for improvement.
That was the goal for our Alto F1743 trailer solar/battery installation project. After almost four years of driving cars powered entirely on electricity, charging them from solar power generated on our house roof, the trailer just had to be powered entirely by electricity generated from solar.
From the moment we put the deposit down on our Safari Condo Alto F1743 trailer I planned to cover the roof with solar panels and install lithium ion batteries so that I would not have to burn any propane.
